Team Australia

The national team representing Australia at the Iași 2023 15th World Esports Championships taking place 24th August – 4th September in Iași, Romania.

The Australian team will be participating in Dota 2, CS:GO Mens and CS:GO Womens, Tekken 7 and eFootball events facing representatives from over 100 countries!

The national team was selected though a national trials process hosted earlier this year, with the winning players earning the right to join Team Australia.

The Tekken 7 and eFootball players have received their spots to the Iași event, whilst the Dota 2, CS:GO Mens and Womens teams must win the Gamers8 Asian Championships in Riyadh this 10-17th June.

Iași 2023 IESF 15th World Esports Championships

The 15th edition of the International Esports Federations World Esports Championships will be hosted in Iași, Romania featuring Dota 2, CS:GO mens and womens, Tekken 7, eFootball, PUBG: Mobile and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang!

The IESF are an international independent membership association of esports national federations who advocate for esports on the world stage and the ongoing development of esports.

Gamers8 Asian Championships

The national team for Dota 2, CS:GO Mens and Womens must win the Gamers8 Asian Championships in Riyadh this 10-17th June.

Team Australia must place in the top five for Dota 2, top six for CS:GO Mens and top two for CS:GO Womens to progress in either game to the world finals event.

Gamers8 is the largest gaming festival in the Middle East, hosted in Saudi Arabia each year and running over 8 weeks featuring a multitude of tournaments and events. More details can be found at https://gamers8.gg/
